Woven Dreams

Created the massive woven web conceived by set designer Jeff Bauer to be the scenic centerpiece of the Joffrey Ballet's Rising Stars "Woven Dreams" by Edwaard Liang. In addition to serving as a backdrop for the dancers, the web would drop to floor level, where dancers would move over, under, and through it - and needed to be available for rehearsals in the Joffrey studio. Created a 1/8th size model of the Auditorium theater stage and flyhouse, as well as a scaled replica of the web for the designer and choreographer to work with in developing the dance and scenery interactions.
