Big Chick

Designed and created a giant papier-maché style rooster to anchor the entrance of Macy's Floranova flower show launch party at the flagship store in Chicago. Built on an armature of (what else?) chicken wire, steel, and PVC pipe legs, it was overlaid with cloth strips, accented with foam flowers and leg ruffles, plus a massive feather tail made of foam sheets. Installed at the base of Macy's main escalator atrium, the rooster proved an irresistible draw, and a great photo-op, for young and old.
